A dissapointment

This blog is like a frozen wasteland! I checked google analytics, which tells you how many people visit your blog and I've only had two visitors on one day! I just wish more people would come on here.
Again, for those of you who accually do come on here, please tell people about it, so it doesn't end up like a frozen wasteland anymore! Please let google analytics be wrong!
Anyway, there isn't much to talk about Rachel today except one little tip. My daily writing tip of course!
Today's tip is, keep at it! If you are a creative writer (like me!) and if you come up with many other ideas for books don't ignore the one you're on and do that one. Keep at the one you're doing and think of the idea as your next book. It's hard to do, but If you try, you can do it! I did it!

Keep on writing (in this case reading),
Chrissy

  1. Don't be discouraged, Chrissy! It takes time for people to find new blogs, so you can't expect a lot of readers after only a few posts. Have you researched other blogs by young writers? I know from my own blogging experience that if I read and comment on other quilting blogs, like mine, that those bloggers will in turn read and comment on my blog. I have met and made friends with people from all over the world with the same interests that I have through my blog (not to mention how much I have learned from those people about quilting), but it does take time. Don't give up!

I might also add to your tip of the day and say that when those new story ideas come, take time to make a few notes about that idea in an "Idea Journal". That way, when it comes time to write the next book you will have lots of story ideas to pick from!

  2. Hi Chrissy! Don't get discouraged! Your writing is wonderful and will eventually get attention. Great writers seldom ever get recognized right away. I'm just so impressed, because when I was your age, I hated writing. Someone had to force me to do it. It wasn't until I was much older and out of college did I begin to appreciate the ability to write. So you just keep up the great work. I look forward to reading more and even you book when it's finished!

Talk to you later! Peggy from Unity
