My Intro

Hello, veiwers! I'm back to show you the first posted intro of Diary of Rachel Dustwater!!! Here it goes!

Introduction
Rachel Dustwater is a 10 year old girl from Missouri, who is moving to a new town, full of new people, and new places. This is a big deal for young Rachel, who has never moved in her life and isn’t used to being somewhere other than her small cabin in her hometown.
Rachel will discover her bond with her family and friends and learn how to adapt in a different place. I am here to show you this story from Rachel’s point of view as Rachel, her Ma, and her Pa go on a trip that will change their lives forever.

I know that it's short, but I didn't want to give too much away in the story when I was writing it.
Want to hear a fact about the intro? I had already gotten in to at least twenty pages before I wrote it. I decided that an introduction would fit the story well.
Now, some bad news. My BFF, who had my emergency copy of RD, (Rachel Dustwater)her brother had a big slumber party at her house. Those kids, who were supposed to be in college, don't care abot her stuff bent the pages and ripped one out! I told her that it was fine, and that I could print another emergency copy anytime.
Now, as I promised in my last post it's time to hand out some fictonal writing tips. Today's tip is if you got writer's block, take a shower. I usually get ideas for my book in the shower! In fact, that's where the whole Rachel idea started!
Check out the poll in the left corner of my blog. Vote on how much you like my intro and what I need to improve. Don't feel bad if you give me something to improve. That's part of the writing process, fixing things!

Keep on writing,
Chrissy
